WHEAT FLOUR SNACK RECIPE 2024

Hi, friends welcome to hindustannews. site hope you all are doing well today we are going to discuss another best recipe which is the Wheat flour snack recipe one of the easy and simple recipes. Now just dive into this recipe without waiting further.

REQUIRED ITEMS FOR WHEAT FLOUR SNACK RECIPE 

  • Wheat flour ( 1 cup )
  • Cardamom seeds ( 1/4 tablespoon )
  • Salt ( 1/2 tablespoon )
  • Red chilly flakes ( 1 tablespoon )
  • Sunflower Oil (  5 tablespoons )
  • Fresh Coriander ( 1 tablespoon )
  • Water ( 1 Jar )
  • Grated boiled Potatoes ( 3 )
  • Finely chopped Green chilly ( 3 )
  • Grated Carrot ( 1 )
  • Finely chopped Capsicum ( 1)
  • Ginger & Garlic paste ( 1 tablespoon )
  • Cumin ( 1/2 tablespoon )
  • Red chilly powder ( 1/2 tablespoon )
  • Black pepper powder ( 1/4 tablespoon )
  • Garam masala ( 1/4 tablespoon )
  • Green chilly sauce ( 5 tablespoons )
  • Finely chopped Onion ( 2 )
  • Sesame seeds ( 1/4 cup )
  • Curry leaves ( 10 )
  • Tomato sauce ( 1/2 cup )

PROCESS OF MAKING WHEAT FLOUR SNACK RECIPE

  • Take a medium-sized plate add Wheat flour ( 1 cup ), Crushed Cardamom seeds ( 1/4 tablespoon ), Salt ( 1/2 tablespoon ), Red chilly flakes ( 1/2 tablespoon ), Sunflower Oil (  2 tablespoons ) and Fresh Coriander ( 1 tablespoon ) mix these well using hand, now add Water little by little to make a nice mixture and start kneading it. Our semi-hard flour is ready so allow this to rest for some time.

  • Now take another medium-sized plate make a Grated boiled Potatoes ( 3 ) and next, add Finely chopped Green chilly ( 3 ), Grated Carrot ( 1 ), Finely chopped Capsicum ( 1), Ginger & Garlic paste ( 1 tablespoon ), Cumin ( 1/2 tablespoon ), Red chilly flakes ( 1/2 tablespoon ), Red chilly powder ( 1/2 tablespoon ), Black pepper powder ( 1/4 tablespoon ), Garam masala ( 1/4 tablespoon ), Fresh Coriander ( 1 tablespoon ) mix these all well. Once it’s done our basic masala is ready keep this aside for now.

   

  • Let’s check our semi-hard flour now once it is settled just knead it again. Take a small portion of flour out of it and shape it out round nicely sprinkle some wheat flour over it then start rolling it into a medium round size roti ( bread ) with a roller pin.

   

  • Once the Roti (  bread ) becomes perfect now add Green chilly sauce ( 1 tablespoon ) centre of the roti and start spreading it evenly using a small size spoon then add the previously prepared basic masala filling over the roti.

  • Add some Finely chopped Onion to the masala filling and also some Fresh Coriander. Then start rolling it as shown below image ( more like a rectangle ) then start rolling over it again with a rolling pin with light hands

  • Prepare a medium-sized bowl of hot water on a low-high flame start boiling water ( 2 cups ) and grease the plate with Oil as shown below. Place the stuffed roti over the plate and keep the plate over the steamer then cover it with a lid and leave to steam for 7 to 8 minutes on medium-high flame.

       

  • After 8 minutes remove the lid and check that roti is cooked well or not. To check tap with your finger then remove the steam lid. Now let’s cool down roti. Once it is done cut them down into equal shapes.

   

  •  Final stage of this Wheat flour recipe take those cut roti pieces and start roasting on a pan with a medium flam. To do roasting put a pan on a medium flame then add Oil ( 1 tablespoon ), Sesame seeds ( 1/4 tablespoon ), Curry leaves ( 4 ) and Red chilly flakes ( 1/4 tablespoon ) one by one then cut roti pieces roast them for 3 to 4 minutes then oddly switch the sides of cut roti pieces. 

  • The colours of roti well change to brown which means they have cooked well. Now we can enjoy a Wheat flour snack recipe with some Tomato sauce.

SUGGESTIONS AND PRECAUTIONS WHILE MAKING WHEAT FLOUR SNACK RECIPE

  • The purpose of adding Sunflower Oil to Wheat flour is to produce some moisture.
  • While preparing Wheat flour We can also add some Semolina or Gram flour to give extra texture to flour.
  • We can also add some cheese while preparing a basic masala mixture. This will increase the crispiness of the dish.
  • While preparing a basic masala filing we can use any vegetables like mutter, corn and cabbage.
  • While making a round-shaped roti ( bread ) don’t make them too thin or thick keep them medium size.
  • Roll over the rectangular roti ( bread ) using light hands.
  • Wheat flour snacks can be stored for 2 days in a tight container.
  • While roasting rectangular roti on a pan we can use Extra Oil to them more crunchy.
