Good news for students studying in 4th standard in Telangana state. Telangana Gurukula board released notification for 5th class admission for the academic year 2024 to 2025. The application process starts on December.18. 2023. Through this entrance exam seats will be filled in TSWREIS, TTWRIL and MJPTBCWREIS gurukulas. This entrance exam is conducted for admissions into 5th standard English medium school. IMPORTANT DATES OF TGCET 2024

Submission of online applications starts in December. 18. 2023
The last date to submit an online application is January. 06. 2024
Entrance exam date is February. 11. 2024

RULES AND ELIGIBILITY FOR TGCET 2024 ENTRANCE EXAM

The seats will be allotted based on reservations and merit basis
present 4th standard studying students are eligible
The application submission is online only
The student must be studied in this discipline in a government school or government-recognised school
Student must be studying in district school till the appearing in the entrance examination
The age of the student must be between 9 to 11 years for the general category and backwards classes category
The age of the student must be between 9 to 13 years for scheduled caste and scheduled tribe categories
The parent’s annual income should be less than1,50000 INR in rural areas and the parental income should be less than 2,00000 INR for urban areas

EXAMINATION FEE FOR TGCET 2024

Each student needs to pay 100 INR for the entrance exam

SCHEME OF EXAMINATION

Telangana Gurukula 5th standard entrance exam will be conducted in an objective mode
The examination will be conducted in pen and paper mode
The examination consists of 100 questions 100 marks
There will be no negative marking for the examination
The question paper will be in bilingual mode Telugu and English
Examination has the following subjects
A. Telugu 20 questions B. English 25 questions C. Mathematics 25 questions D. Mental Ability 10 questions E. Environment science 20 questions
The questions level be 4th class standard

GUIDELINES WHILE FILLING APPLICATION FORM

Candidates should fill sample application form before filing the online application form to avoid making mistakes in the application form
The candidate’s photo size should be (4.5 CM X 4.5 CM ) ready with his / her signature
Candidates should be very careful while filling out the application form
For Mistakes made by candidates while filling out the online application full responsibility will be taken by the candidates’ Parents or their guardians. No responsibility will taken by the examination conducting agency.
Once the application is submitted online there will be no chance to make any kind of changes to it.
Candidates are advised to check their application form before uploading it online because once the application is submitted no chance of making any changes.
Appearing for the entrance exam will not be a guarantee of getting a seat in a model school.
While filling online application candidate should give the mobile number of his/her parent
Entrance exam will be conducted only in districts that are mentioned in the notification

HOW TO APPLY FOR THE ENTRANCE EXAM

Candidates should ensure their eligibility before applying for TGCET 2024
After candidates need to visit the site by taping here
A new interface will open on your mobile phone and enter the following details
A. Candidate name B. Date of birth C. Mobile number ( Parent’s ) and D. District name.
Then candidate needs to pay 100 INR for the online application fee through net banking or a credit card or debit card once the application fee payment is successful a reference ID will be generated along with the online application form.
Candidate needs to fill online application form and take the printout
The hall tickets will be available for download 10 days before the examination
Candidates should not use the same mobile number which is used by other candidates for this entrance exam
If candidates paid the online application fee and for some reason / her not able to fill online application form then candidate can fill out their online application form using their reference ID, date of birth and mobile number before the last date of the online application submission date.
Candidate should fill their online application form having only reference ID not eligible for appearing for the entrance exam
Without a hall ticket candidate is not allowed to enter in examination center
Candidate should have an ARE Income and Caste certificate (original ) on applying time or before appearing for the entrance exam
Applications that are submitted online mode are considered eligible for the entrance examination other than this any form of sending an online application form will not be considered eligible for the TG CET exam 2024.
The seat allotment will take place through web counselling chosen by candidates according to their priority
