POTATO DEEP FIRED BREAD RECIPE 2023

REQURIED ITEMS

  • Wheat flower ( 1 Cup )
  • Fine Semolina ( 1 Table spoon )
  • Salt ( 3 Table spoon )
  • Oil ( 2 to 6 Table spoon )
  • Caraway seeds ( 1/2 Table spoon )
  • Water
  • Whisked Curd ( 1/2 Cup )
  • Kashmiri Red chilly powder ( 2 Table spoon )
  • Turmeric powder ( 1/4 Table spoon )
  • Coriander powder ( 1 Table spoon )
  • Cumin powder ( 2 Table spoon )
  • Black peeper powder ( 1 Table spoon )
  • Cardamom ( 2 to 3 Pieces )
  • Clove  ( 2 to 3 Pieces )
  • Cinnamon ( 2 to 3 Pieces )
  • Finely chopped Onions ( 2 )
  • Finely chopped Ginger and Garlic or paste ( 1 Table spoon )
  • Finely chopped Green chilly ( 2 to 3 Pieces )
  • Tomato puree ( 2 Pieces )
  •  Boiled Potatoes ( 4 to 5 Pieces )
  • Butter ( 1 Table spoon )
  • Sliced Onions ( 1 to 3 Pieces )
  • Sliced Capsicum ( 1 to 3 Pieces )
  • Hot spices powder ( 1/2 Table spoon )
  • Fenugreek seeds ( 1/2 Table spoon )
  • Fresh Coriander ( 2 to 3 pieces )

PROCESS OF MAKING

  • Firstly take a medium size plate and add Wheat flower ( 1 Cup ), Fine Semolina ( 1 Table spoon ), Salt ( 1 Table spoon ), Oil ( 2 to 3 Table spoon ) and Crushed Caraway seeds ( 1/2 Table spoon ) mix everything well. Now add Water as per need and start kneading the dough, after a while a slightly ready hard textured dough is ready. Just keep this a side for now

  • In the step we are going to start prepare a gravy, take a Whisked Curd ( 1/2 Cup ), Kashmiri Red chilly powder ( 2 Table spoon ), Turmeric powder ( 1/4 Table spoon ), Coriander powder ( 1 Table spoon ) and Black peeper powder ( 1 Table spoon ) whisk these all well together when everything mixed up well un till  binds so as we can see a gravy creamy color now. This mixture is ready keep it a side.

  • Next take a  medium size pan (Flam should be medium) add Oil ( 2  Table spoon ), Cumin powder ( 1 Table spoon ), Cardamom ( 2 to 3 Pieces ), Clove  ( 2 to 3 Pieces ), Cinnamon ( 2 to 3 Pieces ) and Finely chopped Onions ( 2 ) toss them well un till they turn golden brown color it would take up to 3 to 5 minutes. Once mixture turn into golden color add Finely chopped Ginger and Garlic or it’s paste ( 1 Table spoon ) and Finely chopped Green chilly ( 2 to 3 Pieces ) toss them well again.
  • Finally we need to add prepared Crud mixture to above masala mixture and mix it up well leave for a some simmer a bit. After a while as we can see curd released a lot of fact then we need to add Tomato puree ( 2 Pieces ), Salt ( 1/2 table spoon ) mix it again for well, add Water ( 1 to 1.5 Cups ) now let’s leave this mixture to boil cover it cook on low-medium flame for 10 to 12 minutes.

  • Meanwhile as the gravy getting cooked take Boiled Potatoes ( 4 to 5 Pieces ) and cut them in cubes or chunks. Take a large size pan add Butter ( 1 Table spoon ), Sliced Onions ( 1 to 3 Pieces ), Sliced Capsicum ( 1 to 3 Pieces ) toss them on a high flame for 30 to 40 seconds and add Chopped boiled potatoes, some Salt then keep mixing them on a high flame.
  • Let’s check gravy which we put on a boil previously. As we can see our gravy looks little thicken a bit now add a stir fried veggies and mix everything well just cover the pan leave it for cooking. Once gravy started showing  prefect consistency add Hot spices powder ( 1/2 Table spoon ), Green chilly ( 2 pieces ), Fenugreek seeds ( 1/2 Table spoon ) and Fresh Coriander ( 2 to 3 pieces ) mix it up for 1  more minute. so here it go our aloo bhuna masala recipe is ready.

  • Now start making deep fired bread (PURI)(previously prepared in 1 point ) knead the dough a little make a small roundels and sprinkle some wheat flour on kitchen floor, start making rolling the dough in round shape.

  • Once you prepare all your round shape dough take a medium size pan heat it on medium flame and start dropping  the  dough one by one once they have cooked it’s starts to swell then remove from oil serve with hot hot bhuna aloo masala curry.
  • It will be mouth watering for your loved once.

  • Using the Fine Semolina ( 1 Table spoon ) helps bring the crunch  in recipe
  • Using the Caraway seeds ( 1/2 Table spoon ) helps bring in the amazing favor
