South Africa won the match by 5 wickets in 47.3 overs. Now south Africa stands in 2 place and Afghanistan stands 6 place. As we all know south Africa qualified for the semi finals of world cup 2023.

By this performance south Africa shown their confidence going into the finals and proven that they can chase down any tricky total on the board. The Afghanistan spinners are not able maintain discipline balling to South African batsman they have balled many loose balls and also they balled nearly 90 K.M per hour which is why they are unable to get enough of grip and turn of the surface. Other hand south African ballers had a clear plan for each Afghani batsman.
